Jacob planned and executed multiple surprises for his partner Jordan including a romantic proposal at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills where he asked her to marry him! Great news, she enthusiastically said yes.

On a weekly basis, Jacob and Jordan walk their pup BeBe from their home over to the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills where they order cocktails and dog treats for date night. Jacob knew this typical plan was the perfect setting to propose. After coming here for years, the couple now knows all the bartenders and staff. The elegant atmosphere framed by green velvet curtains feels luxe yet cozy with comfortable lounges framing the room.
Prior to their arrival together, Jacob secured a gigantic floral display and arranged personal photographs from moments throughout the relationship inside the bouquet. He dropped off the flowers with the team at Four Seasons, then went home to Jordan after work like usual. When they walked over to the bar and sat down, the staff brought out the flower display, and Jordan immediately caught onto the surprise! Jacob dropped down to one knee, and they shared a sweet and romantic moment together. Jacob proposed with a stunning family ring in a vintage cocktail style that perfectly suits Jordan’s fashion taste. She was beaming with joy!

It was particularly sweet getting to photograph this moment since I met Jacob and Jordan at a wedding earlier this year when they attended as guests. I’m honored they remembered me and opted to have me back to be a part of their proposal! As a proposal photographer in Los Angeles, there’s a delicate balance to walk of being subtle enough to capture the big moment without ruining the surprise and then later encouraging a few photos with the couple while they are totally blissed out, sharing in the joy. Flash photography was the perfect fit for this nighttime proposal to really make the moments pop against those gorgeous velvet curtains!

After J&J caught their breath and toasted with champagne, there was another surprise waiting for Jordan. Jacob arranged in advance for all of their closest friends to come running into the private room after the proposal. Jordan’s jaw dropped to the floor when everyone entered yelling, “congratulations!” A flurry of hugs and happy screams ensued. The gal pals even brought Jordan hair clips that said “bride” so she could add them to her ensemble for the night. They thought of everything!

For the rest of the evening, the whole crew celebrated with burgers and champagne. BeBe ate a gigantic dog bone-shaped cookie, not to be left out of the fun! One particularly noteworthy story from the night involves Jordan’s best friend. While Jacob was planning his proposal to Jordan (with her bestie’s help, of course), Jordan was helping her best friend’s partner plan their proposal. Neither girl had any idea until the two proposals occurred within a week of each other. Cue even more happiness!

So honored to be a part of this romantic proposal at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. Huge congratulations and thank you to J&J for having me document all this joy!
