It was such an honor to second shoot this wedding with Roya Miller at the Langham Huntington Hotel + a nearby Pasadena country club!! We started off the day with some gorgeous getting ready moments at the Langham Hotel with the groom and his family, and it was SO dang fun. From the moment his family walked in, there were tons of smiles and laughs all around as they helped him finish getting ready so he could go meet his bride. Definitely look out for some silly moments in this blog post 😉

We got super lucky with some gorgeous lighting for the first look that was also surrounded by some beautiful trees above the golf course. Cristina + Dan had easily the FUNNIEST wedding ceremony I’ve ever witnessed. Dan has a background in music theater, so before the ceremony started, a recording of the two of them played asking people to silence their cell phones and prepare for the best wedding they’d ever attended. It sounded just like a pre-show announcement you’d hear at a Broadway musical!! These two thought of everything <3

One thing that I could sense the entire day was a huge wave of love and support from Cristina + Dan’s friends and family. They were so incredibly supportive of this union from readings at the ceremony to thoughtful toasts and so many hugs and kisses. It was the coolest thing to see these two so excited and so surrounded by their community for a day of celebration!!! PLUSSS the cake was yummy 🙂

Last thing I’ll say is that this reception was hilarious!!! Dan surprised Cristina by joining up with his college a capella group to sing her a song, and Cristina prepared a funny video for Dan and his family. You can tell super quick that these two are gonna have lots of laughter in their future together!

I wish these two all the best, and I had so much fun hanging out with them and golf carting around on their wedding day!!!! Thank you so much to Roya for letting me join her and help document this wedding day!
