I absolutely loved hanging with Jenny + Andrew for their Los Angeles couples photos! Jenny and I met on my first day of college in a journalism class. Our professor told us to find a partner for the class, and Jenny instantly turned to me because she knew I was in the school honors program and I thought I would be more responsible than the other kids in class LOL!
Definitely sooo happy that these two friends live close to us in LA now!!! Jenny and I get together for Bachelor nights to keep up with all the drama, so basically…we’ve really bonded 😉
I’ll tell ya a secret…we only shot for about 35 minutes together total! Yep, that’s right. We hit 3 little spots all within walking distance for different backgrounds and STILL ended up with at least 50 amazing photos showcasing their relationship. So good! When you have fun with your S.O., it makes taking pics pretty easy 😉
“My boyfriend and I were fortunate enough to have a small shoot with Erin Marton and everything about it was easy. Erin was very flexible about meeting time and location. We only had about an hour of time to shoot, due to an early sunset, and she was willing to meet at the most convenient location for me. Along with that, she had already scoped out a few spots in the area to take our photos, so we could make the most of the hour together.
Going into the shoot I was hoping that I would pose naturally in at least one photo, since I can act pretty awkward in front of a camera. As a photographer myself, I know that posing a couple and making them feel comfortable is difficult. Erin gave us enough direction to prevent awkwardness, but let us have the freedom to guide our shoot.
The photos turned out awesome and captured our silliness well! She shot us in a variety of poses in multiple environments, which seemed almost impossible in the small park I picked. We had tons of fun joking around and chatting with Erin during the shoot, which ultimately put my boyfriend and I at ease.
If you are considering hiring Erin Marton for you engagement, wedding, or other photo needs, do it! You will be treated in a kind and fair manner, which is sometimes rare in this business.” – Jenny + Andrew
