This Mayfair Hotel wedding in Downtown Los Angeles was the perfect Art Deco-modern twist to an old Hollywood gem! Rachel and Joe somehow snagged the very first wedding date on the calendar at this unique space after their recent renovations were complete. Let me just say, it did NOT disappoint! 

What to Expect at the Mayfair Hotel

First of all, let me calm your fears – this is not your average hotel wedding. You’re not about to see a yellow ballroom with poor lighting. The Mayfair Hotel offers a sophisticated venue experience for couples and their guests with the convenience of hotel suites on the property. Think white walls, hardwood flooring, and skylights everywhere. A photographer’s dream!

I have to say one more time that it was seriously SO NICE that everything was in one place for Rachel and Joe’s wedding – a huge advantage! Their guests didn’t have to move around to multiple venues and everyone was able to relax + enjoy this place. 

It was honestly perfect that Rachel and Joe chose to get married in the heart of Los Angeles since they first met in the city when they were both grad students at USC! They’ve spent the past few years building their careers and adding cats to their family leading up to the wedding.

The Style and Theme

While the hotel was already stunning on its own, Rachel chose gorgeous jewel-toned flowers to really pop against the white backdrop of the ceremony and reception space. The couple opted for a first look in the upstairs atrium, a little nook filled with plants and comfortable couches. It was such a sweet moment!

If anyone is considering a wedding in Los Angeles, you need to check this place out. From a rooftop deck with a wide view of the city skyline to the custom map of Los Angeles wallpaper accenting the suites, there were so many little touches that made this location the perfect spot for Rachel and Joe to be married.
