Sabrina + Josh met up with me the other week for their Irvine couples photos, and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! I just photographed their wedding back in December, and it was beautiful and nostalgic and magical all at once. These two are so so sweet together, and I seriously cannot get over their amazing curly hair. Their future kids are gonna have some GORGEOUS locks, I can tell ya right now 😉
When we talked about doing an adventurous photo session after their wedding, I knew immediately that wherever we went had to be FUN and full of spots where they could explore a little bit together. These two have been on trips together and visited each other across different states since before they were even married, so I knew that doing photos while encouraging them to be active and just hang out together was a must.
Quail Hill in Irvine was the perfect location!!! Part of the reason we had such a great time was because we started out our session with a little 10-15 minute walk to get to our first location. I think this time really helped us all relax and get ready for photos without feeling like the camera was in their faces immediately. Plus, I got to catch up with these two since I hadn’t seen them since their wedding day!!!
I couldn’t believe how perfect this location turned out to be. We’ve had one of the heaviest rainy seasons I’ve ever seen this winter in Southern California, so everything was so incredibly GREEN and covered in little flowers!! It seriously looked like Ireland or something! I could hardly believe we were still in SoCal hahaha
Thanks soooo much to these two for having the best attitudes, braving the mud, and jumping across these big mud canyon things we found. I love that they genuinely had a great time which made it incredibly easy to photograph their love for each other. Plussss a good piggy back ride never hurt anybody 😉
I hope you love a little glimpse into this session!! I’m so excited to share a look into Josh + Sabrina <3
